The Weyburn Comprehensive Eagles will be hosting district basketball, with the Junior A boys and Junior B girls. Games start at 11 a.m. with finals at 5 p.m. in both the Cugnet Centre and Eagle gyms.
Thursday
A class in wooden coaster painting will be held at the Canadian Mental Health Association building at 404 Ashford Street, from 7 to 8 p.m. The class is free, but space is limited. Contact Cassidy Juhasz at 306-897-3284.

The Weyburn Farm Update will be held at the Weyburn Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The World Day of Prayer service will start at 10 a.m. at Grace United Church, provided by the women of Zimbabwe. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Weyburn Comp Eagles senior girls will host a home basketball tournament, with action starting at 5 p.m. in the Eagle gym.
The Richardson Pioneer Gold Wings will host the Regina Rebels at Crescent Point Place for a game at 7:30 p.m.
The Queen Elizabeth School-Community Council will hold a family fun night in the school gym from 6 to 8 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday
The Comp Eagles senior girls basketball tournament continues all Saturday in the Eagle gym.
There will be storytelling with ozobots on Saturday at the Weyburn Public Library at 2 p.m.
For young gaming enthusiasts, there will be a Sunday Gaming session held at 2 p.m. for children aged seven to 12 years.
Monday
The Weyburn Rotary Music Festival will open this morning at 9 a.m., with the piano classes first to compete, at the T.C. Douglas Centre. There will be sessions also starting at 1:30 and 7 p.m.
