Today:
• A Teddy Bear Tea will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Weyburn Public Library in the Allie Griffin auditorium. Knitted teddy bears along with sanitary pads will be collected for distribution in Kenya by a group of Canadian nurses.
Thursday:
• Marley’s Dance Effex will be hosting this year’s Inspirations of Dance competition at the Cugnet Centre. The competition runs from Thursday, March 12 to Sunday, March 15.
Friday:
• The Weyburn Public library will hold a family matinee at 2 p.m. The movie they will be showing is “Patch Adams”.
Sunday:
• The Weyburn Richardson Pioneer Gold Wings host the Swift Current Diamond Energy Wildcats for game two of their playoff series. Puck drops at 4 p.m.
Monday:
• Filled with some of the best country and rock classics, The Louisiana Hayride Show will be taking the stage at the Cugnet Centre at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $45 and tickets are available either on their website or at Pharmasave.
Tuesday:
• The Weyburn Public Library is holding at St. Patricks-themed game of Minute to Win It from 3:45 p.m.-5 p.m. Children ages 6-12 can come participate in challenges such as Rainbow Relay, Lucky Charm challenge and the Shamrock Shuffle. Those interested must call the library to register in advance.·
