Tickets are still available for a fundraiser supper event to assist the Cornish family with their expenses in taking care of their infant son.
The fundraiser will assist Kevin and Crystal Cornish, who are in Edmonton currently getting medical care for their infant son Nolan.
The fundraiser event is being organized by Contessa Hill, and will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Knox Hall, featuring a turkey supper, entertainment and a silent auction.
Tickets are being sold in advance only for $25 each, and are available by contacting Hill at 306-842-4110.
The evening will open with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., with a cash bar, and the turkey supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. with entertainment by local band Switch to follow.
Throughout the evening, there will be a silent auction and 50-50 tickets available, with all proceeds going to the Cornish family. Organizers of this event are seeking any donations of silent auction items to assist with the fundraiser.
A fundraiser burger night was held on Sunday evening at Brown’s Socialhouse, with 169 tickets redeemed for burger meals, and with the silent auction and 50-50 tickets, a total of $5,175 was raised for the family.
