For the first time this year, Environment Canada had to issue a severe thunderstorm warning for the Estevan area.
A strong thunderstorm rolled through Estevan late Sunday night and continued into early Monday. The warning was issued at 12:03 a.m. Monday and ended at 12:15 a.m.
A severe thunderstorm watch was in place for most of Sunday afternoon. Estevan had a couple of showers roll through, including one at about 8 p.m. that brought some thunder, lightning and precipitation.
