The severe thunderstorm watch for the Carlyle area has been lifted.
Environment Canada issued the watch at 6:23 p.m. Friday evening. It came to an end at 8:35 p.m.
According to Environment Canada, conditions were favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
