Three young people from Estevan had a lot of success selling lemonade and a variety of snacks Friday.
Rayne Duff, Sydney Lainton and Allie Lainton sold the lemonade, Rice Krispie cakes, puffed wheat cakes and cinnamon roll muffins in front of Graphic Press on Fifth Street. People also entered to win a summer kids basket through a raffle.
They raised $1,079, with $500 coming from a donation and the rest raised through sales.
Proceeds from the sale will be directed to the Hillcrest Breakfast Program. Rayne, Sydney and Allie attend Hillcrest, and they view it as a great cause because it helps students get a hearty breakfast each day.
