Vera Murray displays a group photograph of three generations of the Murray family who served Canada with the Canadian Armed Forces, including, left to right, Geoffrey Earle in the First World War; her husband Sam Murray in the Second World War; and her son Rob, who was a pilot-in-training at CFB Moose Jaw. Vera has been chosen as the War Mother for the Weyburn branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, and will lay the wreath on behalf of all war mothers at the cenotaph on Remembrance Day, on Monday, Nov. 11.
