A team of children watch as their volcano erupts colourfully into the snow packed around it, during an activity for Winter Snow Day on Thursday afternoon at the Weyburn Public Library. At left is Charli Lawrence, and at right are Payton Grad and Jack Grad. The activities for the day were supposed to be outside in the snow, but due to mild temperatures melting a lot of the snow, the activities were held indoors, with the children only going outside to get the snow for this activity. The volcanoes were produced by combining vinegar, baking soda and food colouring, with the snow packed in around it.
