The football team has played its first game along with the senior boys and girls volleyball teams participating in their first tournaments of the year. The girl's soccer team has also started Moose Jaw league play this past Saturday. The boy's soccer team, cross-country and golf teams are practicing for their first events.

The senior girl's volleyball team is off to a tournament in Brandon this weekend and the boys to Lumsden. Remember to come out and support your local teams as they present good entertainment for a very reasonable price.

This week the individual school pictures are being taken on Wednesday and on Friday there is a kick-off for our community cards. This is the SRC's big fundraiser and they will not be doing magazine sales this year.

On Saturday 12 students and four advisors will be leaving for the Canadian Student Leadership Conference in Montague, P.E.I. After hosting a fantastic conference here in Weyburn last year all the participants are looking forward to a great week in the Maritimes. The participants will take part in the pre-conference taking in the sights, sounds and food of this unique Canadian province and then on Tuesday will join in with the over 800 delegates to learning and hone their leadership skills, hear some great speakers and see the famous "Anne of Green Gables" play.
