The two feature events at WCS this week are the senior girls' volleyball tournament to be held in the Cugnet Centre this weekend (September 19 and 20). Ten teams from across Saskatchewan will be here to contest for the championship. Action starts at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and continues until 5 p.m. on Saturday. The other is the first football game of the season when the Eagles take on Moose Central at 1 p.m. at Darold Kot Field on September 20.
Spectators coming to the volleyball tournament are to enter through the north main doors into the Cugnet Centre. Football spectators are asked to park in the parking lot at the west end of the school. There is no entry into the school from the west at the present time.
The girls' soccer team hosted Moose Jaw Central on September 16 at Jubilee Park and will be traveling to Estevan on Tuesday, September 23.
The boys' soccer team is in a tournament in Swift Current this weekend.
The senior boys' volleyball team is in a tournament at the U. of R. this weekend.
Plans are confirmed for the Official Opening of the Cugnet Centre on Monday, October 6. There is a private reception for donors and invited guests at 6:30 p.m. with the doors open to the public at 7:30 p.m. There will be an official unveiling of the donor wall at this time.
