Animal lovers who want to help the Weyburn Humane Society in a much-needed, hands-on way have an opportunity to participate in a Work Bee on Sunday, June 3.
The shelter is in need of a large amount of work, such as raking rocks, bleaching rocks, clearing out flower planters, putting in rocks and whipping grass along the fence. But, as the saying goes, many hands make light work!
Anyone with up to a few free hours is invited to help out beginning on June 3 at 1:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Please bring a pair of gloves, a shovel and a love for our furry friends.
