At approximately 12:55 a.m., May 21, police members were called to a store in the northwest section of the city to a report of an intoxicated male bothering customers by asking for a ride.Patrol members attended, but the male individual had departed the area. After a search of the area police were unable to locate the man.
Police were called to the Tatagwa View area on May 21 at 9 a.m. to a report of a male shooting a rifle. The person was found, but is a licensed individual hired to dispose of nuisance animals and rodents in the area.
City police were called to a residence in the central area of the city on May 21 in the afternoon to a report of a domestic dispute. A male and female were having a dispute that resulted in some property damage. The male who was responsible for damaging his own property agreed to leave the residence. After the two individuals went their separate ways the matter was resolved without further incident.
Police were called twice on May 21, at 4:23 and again at 6:45 p.m. to reports of excessive noise in the city in the Fifth St reet and Park Avenue areas. In both cases, which were two separate residences, the individual had been playing their music too loud, and making too much noise. Warnings were given to keep the noise down so as not to disturb the neighbors. In both cases the individuals complied and police were not called back.
Police were called to a motor vehicle accident on Saskatchewan Drive on May 21. A vehicle had lost control and struck a curb. The vehicle had to be towed from the area. No injuries were reported.
City police were called on May 22 to a local service station to investigate a report of damage to a vehicle, that has been parked on the lot for some time. The parked vehicle had its windshield smashed. The matter is under investigation.
Police were called to a motor vehicle accident on Third Street on May 22 involving two vehicles. Damage was extensive resulting in vehicles needing to be towed. There were no injuries reported by any of the occupants. One driver was charged for driving without due care and attention as a result of his driving action.
While doing a foot patrol though a local bar on May 22, police were alerted to two males who had been in the lounge acting strangely. The males, both in their 40's, left the bar without incident.
City police were called to a local business parking lot on May 22, where a vehicle collided into a second vehicle. The operator of the vehicle, who was an elderly gentleman, parked and had gone into the store. Police located both vehicles and their respective drivers. The matter was sorted out and the individuals exchanged names and were directed to report the matter to insurance.
City police attended a local residence on May 23 in regard to a noise complaint. The apartment occupant was made aware of the complaint and agreed to keep the noise down. As a result the matter was resolved with a warning.
Police were called to a local hotel late on May 23, and requested to remove a patron who other customers felt threatened by. The man left with the police without incident.
Police were called to a residence in the east part of the city on May 23. The caller requested police assist with removing an intoxicated female from the residence. The female was taken home without incident.

Police members attended Assiniboia Park School on May 23 to present the annual bicycle roadeo. Children from the school were instructed in the safe handling of a bicycle. The bicycle roadeo is an annual spring event put on at all of the elementary schools.
Police were made aware of a situation alleging child abuse on May 23. The situation occurred in another jurisdiction. Police assisted by contacting the police responsible for the jurisdiction to initiate an investigation into the allegations of assault. The matter is under investigation.
City police were made aware on May 24 of a suspicious male who has been hanging around a local child activity center. The individual was not there at the time it was being reported, was described to the police. Police have not identified the individual and asked the people to call the next time he shows up in the area so the individual's identity can be determined.
On May 24, police were called to investigate a fraud where a local resident had advertised her vehicle for sale on the Internet. The buyer allegedly paid with an NSF cheque that was more than the advertised amount and the balance was sent back to the buyer. The matter is under investigation.
Police were called on Friday to investigate a minor fire on South Hill. Investigation showed some wood had been burned. The fire was minor with no real damage. The matter is under investigation.
Police were called to the area of the Inland Terminal east of the city on Highway 39 on Friday. Two males dressed in dark clothing were walking near the highway making it hard for vehicles to see them. Two 14-year-old males were turned over to their parents.
Police were called to a report of gunshots in the area of Dieppe Drive and Eaglesham Avenue on Saturday. After extensive patrol of the area the source could not be found. Fireworks may have been the cause. Residents are reminded that the lighting of fireworks in the city is an offence under local bylaw.
Police were called to the Bison Avenue area in the city to a report of a male going through vehicles early on Saturday. Police attended the area and did not find the suspects. Residents are reminded not to leave valuables in their vehicles and to make sure and lock their doors.
Police stopped and suspended a male driver from driving his vehicle on Sunday because of alcohol consumption.
City police attended a South Hill apartment block to a report of a possible break and enter on Sunday. Investigation showed it was not a break and enter, rather a house pet that knocked over a lamp.
Police were called to a disturbance at a local bar on Sunday evening. On arrival one of the parties and had already left.
