The Wheatland Seniors Centre will hold their annual meeting on Friday, Feb. 28, following a meal featuring baked ham.
People don’t have to be a member to enjoy the supper. The price is $15 for non-members, or $13 for members. This is one of the events that helps to keep the centre open for the activities enjoyed by the seniors.
A Valentine’s tea will be held at the Wheatland on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 2-4 p.m. The tea will feature strawberry shortcake, coffee or tea, and will cost $5 a person.
For those who love Scrabble, come and play at the centre every Wednesday at 1 p.m. and test your vocabulary skills.
For bingo fans, the centre holds a bingo every Thursday at 1 p.m., and slider cards are 50 cents each.
