White Bear Lake Resort reopened on May 30 to cottagers who are Saskatchewan residents.

White Bear Lake Resort has opened to cottagers and vacationers on May 30.

The popular vacation spot had been under limited access to permanent residents and members of the White Bear First Nations due to the COVID-19 provisions set forth by White Bear First Nations chief and council members.

The resort began allowing local access to cottage owners and seasonal camper lot holders, who had reserved those spaces in the past years. The resort and golf course are open to permanent residents of Saskatchewan only.

All gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people. Everyone is expected to follow the physical distancing guidelines set forth by Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and must be adhered to at all times.

All activities are under SHA guidelines and anyone needing information can go to the SHA website.
