The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School put on a special performance of ballet dances for the students and staff of St. Michael School on Wednesday morning. The ballet school had also put on a public performance at the school the night before, as they were sponsored by the Weyburn Rotary Club for the Weyburn stop in their tour across western Canada. The ballet school performed pieces from well-known ballets; the school had visited Weyburn many years ago, and was able to return this year to showcase what the students have been learning. The ballet students practice on average five to six hours a day, six days a week, over and above their schooling.
