Lomond 4-H Beef Club held their regular December meeting at Oungre Park. We discussed and reported on different things. Our steak supper was successful. We decided to have a Family Fun Day at Lake Alma Rink during the Christmas holidays.

On Monday, Jan. 7 before the start of the school day two hoodlums raced around spraying silly string on random students. Don't worry though, it was all planned and the students knew it may happen to them.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of Dec. 30, 2012 to Jan. 5, 2013: During the reporting period, police attended to 65 calls for service. *On January 4, police assisted EMS with an intoxicated male in the 100 Block of Sixth Avenue.
