A fundraiser for cancer research sent people dodging hay bales, climbing racks and trudging through the bush. The inaugural Crushing It for Cancer was held north of Estevan in a field that was set up for a more leisurely Tough Mudder challenge.

Congratulations to Mitchell Morrison who participated in the SHSAA Provincial Golf Championships in Prince Albert this past weekend. Mitchell, a grade 9 student, competed against golfers in grades 9 to 12. He finished tied for 10th out of 78 golfers.
