In the week of Friday, March 23 to Thursday, March 29, the Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP responded to a total of 46 calls. Members found a peaceful resolution to the situation which began calls for the 23rd.

The Memorial Hall was this year's venue for the 23rd annual Contractor Safety Awareness Association (CSAA) contractor breakfast, on Mar.27, 2012.

The Lomond 4-H held their February meeting on February 17. The group discussed upcoming events, including the Regina Spring Show for 4-H club members. The upcoming steak fundraiser and public 4-H speeches were also discussed.

This year's Regional Drama Fest was held at Oxbow Prairie Horizons School, Mar. 30 and Mar. 31. The winners of this event will attend provincials at the University of Regina, May 10-12. Members of the drama department at Gordon F.

The Day of Impact was held March 28th at the Carlyle Elementary school. This day was created to get parents and their toddlers, who are turning four in 2012, prepared for Kindergarten. The event was two hours long, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

During the month of March, the Weyburn Duplicate Bridge has played on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Wheatland Senior Centre.

A large stage area for the future Triple C Centre starts to take shape, during construction work at the site north of the Weyburn Comprehensive on Thursday.

The intersection of Third Street and Souris Avenue is closed to traffic, as participants in the second annual Pink Parade stand up against bullying on April 3. Participants and spectators were encouraged to wear pink during the Pink Parade.
