New refuse system for the New Year

The City of Weyburn will roll out the new automated refuse carts in the New Year. The delivery of the new carts will begin on January 17, 2011, not January 3 as was originally predicted.

Two people were injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Dec. 8 when one vehicle pulled off to the right to drop off a passenger. Apparently the vehicle had not pulled in far enough to avoid being struck from behind by a second vehicle.
