The town of Carlyle is now approaching one full year of service with Regens Waste Disposal for household waste removal, and it has been a half-a-year since the curb-side recycling had been adopted by the town.

Weyburn's Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes was a big success this year, according to organizer Trina Kopec. The walk raised $32,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. "It went great," said Kopec. "We almost raised $10,000 more than last year.
