Curling Museum needs a home

Estevan and area residents will have their annual chance to get flipped, turned and spun beginning Monday. The popular Estevan Fair is scheduled to begin Monday at the city's exhibition grounds.

Weyburn and area employees of the Southeast Cornerstone School Division were in Midale recently for an employee recognition night.

As expected, this year's Relay for Life brought forth a wide variety of emotions on and around the Estevan Comprehensive School track on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. At times it was funny - the Mr. Relay pageant was a hit.

Weyburn's 10th annual Relay For Life was a "great success," according to Chairperson Stefany Hovanak, raising over $100,000, with funds continuing to trickle in."It was gorgeous all night and the teams all seemed to have a lot of fun," Hovanak said.

Ten women with ties to Weyburn have united to put on an art show, "Emerging Artists - Female Artists Celebrate their Artistic Roots," at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery.
