The Estevan Sherritt Coal peewee AA Bruins followed up a lopsided loss with a narrow victory during two road games on the weekend.

The CanElson Drilling Estevan Bruins came home empty from a long road trip to Flin Flon and Nipawin on the weekend.

Despite getting some major reinforcements in the lineup, the Bruins had a weekend to forget on the road. The 3-in-3 trip ended today with a 6-0 blowout loss at the hands of the Nipawin Hawks.

The Wings battled the second place Notre Dame Hounds on November 28 and came up with a big 3-2 victory. The Wings spotted the Hounds' two goals before rallying to take the win.

The Bruins will get a huge boost tonight when they open their road trip in Flin Flon. Both Josh Jelinski and Connor Milligan will return to the lineup after sitting out more than a month each with concussions.

University of Regina Rams third-year offensive lineman Brett Jones, of Weyburn, capped off his 2011 season by adding a pair of team awards to his already impressive résumé at the Rams' awards banquet on December 1.
