The midget AA Apex Bruins got off to a good start in the second game of their series with Swift Current but couldn't maintain that momentum.

The TS&M bantam AA Bruins were tied in their series 1-1 heading into game three March 17 against the Prairie Storm. The Storm scored an early goal in the first and then again in the final two minutes to take a 2-0 lead into the dressing rooms.

Last night's Big Six game between Bienfait and Midale was cancelled. The game will be played Thursday night at 8 o'clock. Bienfait leads the championship series 3-2.

The Estevan Baxter midget A Cougars girls' hockey team is in a hole in their provincial final series against the Canwood Canucks.

The Estevan Power Dodge Chargers bantam girls' team is playing in both the league and provincial championships. Heading into the league final against the Prairie Storm this past weekend, the Chargers dropped the first game on the road 3-1.

The Bruins Complex at the new Spectra Place is going to be something special for the players and staff of the junior hockey team. A big part of making the Bruins' facilities as good as they can be is the support from the community.
