Graduating players of the Richardson Pioneer Gold Wings Jenay Hyndman and Ashton Bender were awarded Esso Cup $1,500 scholarships.

Weyburn athlete Ella Schenher, 15, is preparing to represent Saskatchewan for three different sports this year: football, lacrosse and hockey.

People are already offering to sponsor next years event, and even suggested that they hold another tournament like this in the fall.

Ten teams showcased their skills for coaches and scouts from the U.S.
