The Redvers Rockets and the Yellow Grass Wheat Kings grabbed early series leads in their respective Big Six Hockey League semifinal series. The Rockets defeated the Bienfait Coalers 8-5 in Redvers Monday night to lead 1-0 in their series.

This past weekend Kylie and Jacquie Van De Woestyne from Weyburn joined the players and coaching staff of the Swift Current United Under 19 girls soccer team at the 2020 SaskTel Soccer 4 Life Indoor Youth 6-Aside Provincials.

The Weyburn Richardson Pioneer Gold Wings played for the first time since February 11 on Tuesday night. For their return to the ice, the Gold Wings hosted the Regina Rebels at Crescent Point Place. After the first period, the Rebels led 3-0.

The Estevan Apex midget AA Bruins have advanced to the South Division semifinal in the Saskatchewan Minor AA Hockey League’s playoffs. Estevan defeated the Regina Rangers 5-0 Feb.
