As the golfers finished the final hole Saturday afternoon with a couple's nuptials going on at the same time at TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course, Estevan Comprehensive's Jace Carlisle was putting the finishing touches on a great weekend of golf.

South Corner Racing Circuit (SCRC) hosted its final race of the year in Carlyle on Saturday, Sept. 16. The races not only gave competitors one last time out for the year, it allowed them to score the final points of the year to determine winners.

The Weyburn Cobra Wrestling Club will be holding their registration for the upcoming season, at the Weyburn Credit Union Community Room on Monday, September 25. The registration will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

Action at the 2 nd Annual Cougars’ Night Out – which included a golf tournament, dinner, and cabaret – was hosted on Saturday, Sept. 9.

It was the first meeting of the season for the Estevan Takwondo Association, so senior head instructor Wayne Brown wasn't about to make the members drop and give him 10 pushups for each routine missed.

As far as trips to Weyburn go, the Penta Completions Estevan Minor Football teams were probably thinking it could have gone better.
