Did you know that there is a Biblical book called Lamentations? To lament means “to grieve or passionately express sorrow.” At first, a book dedicated to the sadness that God’s people are experiencing may seem odd, but it makes perfect sense.

I admit that in my younger days I secretly wished for a few spectacular displays of God’s leading in my life.

Lately everywhere I look, I see ads for various subscription boxes popping up. The marketing idea is great. You sign up for the subscription and either pay monthly or for the year, and every month a surprise box is delivered to your door.

Say what you will about Kevin O’Leary’s bid for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, but you can’t deny he made it more interesting.

Everything was smooth until Moose Jaw, after my turn there I realized I’d never be a navigator. The trip from Lloydminster to Estevan is long, but for me, it was about to become longer and more stressful than it should’ve been.
