It's about time spring quits lollygagging and gets here already. Once February ends I have an expectation that the snow should disappear. It should realize it has once again overstayed its welcome and should leave us be until next winter.

I find it difficult to sit attentively and write this morning, as my mind is already out the door on vacation.

This week I would like to write about CPR. I feel it is widely misunderstood and hope to bring some clarification on this sensitive topic.

Letter to the Editor

Science fiction stuff doesn't usually interest me. I have enough of a problem dealing with realities.

The Editor, I am writing this letter on behalf of some of the dog owners in the neighbourhoods of the town of Bienfait in response to Bruce Dalziel's letter about the barking dogs of Bienfait.

While the federal political ambush teams coyly toy with one another regarding a possible election call, the stage is already set in Saskatchewan and most cast members are in place for the Nov. 7 event.

If Estevan is supposed to be the Sunshine Capital of Canada, why isn't that natural resource being tapped? Since coming to Estevan in early December, I've noticed this place truly is a perfect storm for energy production.

I ran into a friend of mine at the market last week. I hadn't seen her in about six months. She jumped up to give me a hug ... and our tummies collided. Now, understand, it's not unusual for my tummy to collide with things.
