WEYBURN – Weyburn RCMP are investigating a rural break, enter and theft.
Between Sunday, Aug. 3, and Wednesday, Aug. 6, unknown individual(s) entered onto unoccupied property in the RM of Griffin where they stole a 2018 American tandem axle enclosed trailer (Saskatchewan License Plate 249KTV) containing a Can-Am ATV, John Deere ride-on mower, green coloured generator, and various tools.
In addition, while on the property those responsible broke into an RV located on the property.
The Weyburn/Fillmore RCMP Detachment are asking that members of public report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or behaviour that was observed near and around the rural area in the RM of Griffin to their local RCMP Detachment.
Police say these observations often contain invaluable clues and evidence that lead to the identification of those responsible for these crimes and others. It's also vitally important that prospective shoppers remain suspicious of inappropriately priced products and the circumstances of the sellers..
