Evelyn Annie Peters of 80 years went to be with her Lord on May 23, 2016. Her husband and three children were at her side in Weyburn.

Philip Thomas “Sparky” Sparks, late of Weyburn, passed away May 24, 2016, at the age of 75 years. Philip was predeceased by his parents: Catherine and William Sparks, sisters: Alice, Gail, Vernie and Louise; brother Chester; step-son Gerry Biliak.

By Greg Nikkel The chair of Weyburn’s Syrian Refugee Committee is “very disappointed” that the federal government has stopped processing any refugee families, and Weyburn may not get their families until the end of 2016 or even 2017.
