A new four year contract has been ratified by Saskatchewan physicians. The contract agreement covers the period April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2017. Approximately 90 per cent of physicians voted in favor of the agreement.

Haying continues in the province. Livestock producers now have 54 per cent of the hay crop baled or put into silage, with an additional 18 per cent cut and ready for baling, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture's weekly Crop Report.

The Weyburn Police Service are seeking assistance in solving an incident that happened on the Wal-Mart parking lot in the early morning hours of July 26. A vehicle was parked on the lot where the driver was sleeping.
