The Canadian Red Cross and Saskatchewan credit unions will be accepting cash donations to help Saskatchewan residents devastated by recent disasters at participating Saskatchewan credit unions until July 25, 2014.

Kipling Memorial Health Centre will resume 24-hour emergency and inpatient services on Monday, August 18. From now until then, emergency services will be provided from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. only, due to a shortage of nursing staff.

Weyburn Police have charged a 17-year-old Ontario girl with possession of and using counterfeit money at a local restaurant July 8. Constable David Schenk said the female tried using two counterfeit $20 bills to pay for her food.
