Elise Foley (nee Beriault) was born in Redvers on April 20, 1947. She was Lucien and Germaine Beriault's third child of a family of six. The family was raised in the Alida district and Elise did her schooling in Cantal, Storthoaks and Forget.

Tenille Arts was announced as one of the top three finalists for this year's Next Big Thing competition, on June 10. "I am extremely excited," said Tenille. "I really know what I am going into this year (for the competition).

City council is asking for public input on a request to replace four homes on Second Street with one large modular-built apartment complex containing 60 suites.

With sadness we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Carl Griep, June 3, 2014. He was born to Emil and Isadora Griep, July 1, 1922 in Creelman.

Lewis William Thompson, late of Weyburn, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2014, at the age of 84 years.
