Weyburn Arts Council hosted two receptions April 25. The 2014 Local Adjudication Reception was held at Signal Hill Gallery. During the day professional artist, Leslie Potter critiqued the work of 13 local artists.

Grease performances still on/dinner theatre cancelled

Due to a lack of ticket sales, the dinner portion of the performance of Grease scheduled for Sunday, May 4 has been cancelled. However, the show must go on. The Sunday performance will take place at 7 p.m.

Big game draw application deadline May 31

Weyburn Police called to bar fight

Weyburn Police Services responded to a fight at a local bar on April 27, however, due to the large number of patrons, police were unable to identify who had been in the fight. A 26-year-old male was taken to hospital for stitches.

Music award applications now being accepted
