The Weyburn Minor Football board of directors held their Annual General Meeting November 27. The board has made the decision to play in the Moose Jaw Minor Football League beginning the 2014 season.

Weyburn's Operation Christmas Child ships 1,733 boxes

Operation Christmas Child was again a success in Weyburn, collecting 1,733 boxes to be sent on to Calgary. The numbers this year were slightly lower than the 2012 total of 1,800 boxes.

Police respond to break and enters

Police responded to two break and enters in the city on December 1. A residence on 13th Street was entered by forcing the front door and numerous articles were stolen, including a laptop, jewelry and coins.

WCS brings festive sounds to Weyburn
