The Weyburn Ladies Golf Club held their 13th annual golf tournament on July 27 and 28 with 103 golfers participating.

The Weyburn Housing Authority Board of Directors hosted a special event to honour one of its members for long service. John Lawrence has served as a volunteer for fifteen years and will continue on the board in his position as Chairperson.

The Weyburn Branch of the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society launched their project on the week-end to commemorate the City of Weyburn's 100th anniversary.

Weyburn's Walk of Fame received three new inductees on August 2. Isabelle Butters, Dr. Noel Hall and Arthur Mainil are officially permanently recognized on the designated wall in front of City Hall.

During July and August the Weyburn Duplicate Bridge Club plays on Monday evenings only at the Wheatland Senior Centre starting at 7:00 p.m. All Bridge players are welcome to come and play.
