Weyburn Review

Weyburn resident Archie Howard shows off eight tomatoes from his garden at his home on Eighth Street. One of the tomatoes weighed three-fourths of a pound; and the other seven weighed four and one-fourth pounds in total.

Many Weyburn families have recently reported their pet cat missing, enough that a new Facebook group "Pet Find Weyburn" was created on Wednesday and it had over 90 members after one day.

During the week of Aug. 20-26, the Weyburn Police Service attended to 136 calls for service. The Weyburn Police Service has received a few calls this week in regards to missing cats.

Nobody wants to pay higher taxes, or enjoys increases in user fees, but there are times when it is a necessity of practicality and economics.
