This year, the charity golf tournament will raise money for Inclusion Weyburn, and Envision Counselling.

Weyburn artist Tana Cugnet paid a visit to the Grade 2 class at Assiniboia Park Elementary School on Wednesday to talk about her art. The class had done their impressions of one of her paintings, and she came in to talk about that painting and her process for creating art. She also gave each student a print of one of her art works.

Stories from the career of John Gibbons, former manager of the Toronto Blue Jays, entertained a crowd at the Weyburn Exhibition Hall on Friday evening, as the Weyburn Beavers held their sports dinner.

Humidex values of 38 were expected.

Public Schools of Saskatchewan announced its third annual Student Citizenship Award winners, including the Weyburn Comprehensive School’s SRC, for their “Giving Tree Project”.

Grade 12 student Hannah VanDeSype was named the 2023 winner of the Tom Zandee Humanitarian Award from the Weyburn Comprehensive School.
