The biggest news about this year's Weyburn Relay For Life fundraiser is the venue change, as it will be held at Crescent Point Place in the Exhibition Grounds on Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11.

Grade 12 students from Weyburn Comprehensive will be hosting their graduation ceremonies on Tuesday, June 28. Graduating students are to meet in the Cafetorium at the Comp at 9:30 a.m. The graduation ceremonies will then begin at 10 a.m.

Eight recognized for contributions to industry

The third annual Weyburn Elementary Mini-Marathon will host 224 runners next week who will "run it for the fun of it." The marathon will begin on June 4 with registration at 8 a.m. at Assiniboia Park Elementary School. The race begins at 9 a.m.

Weyburn's Amanda Jane Duncan will be competing to be "The Next Big Thing" in the Big Dog 92.7 Country Talent Search this June. Nine emerging country artists have been selected and will perform live in three semi-final shows on June 1, 8 and 15.
