The second annual Weyburn Campaign to End Duchenne will be taking place on May 14. The fundraiser is being organized by the Kerr family, which has four young boys living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in Weyburn.

A woman has been charges with arson for a house fire near Carlyle. On April 26 at 9:20 p.m. Carlyle RCMP and the Kipling Fire Department were called to a house fire on the Pheasant Rump First Nation.

Dance showcase to benefit food bank

The Red Coat Trail in River Park is inaccessible to anyone due to the high water levels of the Souris River. Most of the River Park campground is completely submerged but the water was at peak levels on Thursday or Friday.
