Humane Society announces winner; year-end numbers

The Weyburn Humane Society drew a winner for their 50/50 raffle at their annual general meeting on December 15, giving one lucky resident some additional Christmas spending money. Minnie Borshowa of Weyburn won $2,715 from the raffle.

January is a very busy month at the Weyburn Public Library. They are hosting three different book clubs, "High Fidelity," "Water for Elephants" and "A Fire Upon the Deep." Copies of each book have been set aside and registration is required.

Riders hang on to McCullough

Winners of the 2010 YouthBiz E-Show were announced, recently. A total of $2,150 in prize money was awarded to students in southeast Saskatchewan for their efforts in developing unique business ideas and creating virtual tradeshow booths.
