All the thrills of bull-riding were in evidence for the senior bull-riding event at the Weyburn High School Rodeo on Saturday evening, with the first half-dozen or so being bucked off before any cowboys were able to stay the full eight seconds to register a score. No one was injured, in spite of how it looks in some of the photos, and there were some who stuck it out to earn a score for their bull ride.

The Weyburn High School Rodeo was back on Saturday and Sunday, after having to be cancelled the previous two years. The mornings of both days were for the Grades 6-8 age levels, competing in events from barrel-racing to break-away roping, ribbon roping, goat tying, team roping and bull riding, with athletes converging on Weyburn from throughout Saskatchewan.
