Weyburn kids explore 'gross science' at fun class

The Credit Union Spark Centre in Weyburn featured their second Saturday of fun science experiments on Saturday morning, with the theme, "Eww, that science is gross!" The children made 'snot', and burp in a bag with fun experiments. The class will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, with the theme, "Investigate it", and on Saturday, Jan. 29, the theme is "Science meets art", where kids can use shadows, colour, motion and light to create art from science.

Weyburn Red Wings hold a skate at new outdoor rink

The Weyburn Red Wings made alternate plans on Saturday after their two road games were postponed due to COVID concerns with their opponents, Notre Dame and Yorkton. They had a skate with the Bantam Wings in the morning, and went to the outdoor rink at the Credit Union Spark Centre for a skate with anyone who wanted to join them on the ice.
