The first nice break from extreme cold temperatures and high wind chill arrived on Sunday, and families were out enjoying the relatively mild -9 temperature for sledding, skating or snowmobiling in Weyburn. The sledding hill on Confederation Drive near River Park was crowded as families enjoyed the last day of the Christmas break before school resumed on Monday morning at Weyburn and area schools.
