Weyburn Quota Club hosts 68th annual Festival of Carols live

Several Weyburn area groups and choir performed at the Quota Carol Festival on Sunday night at Grace United Church. The groups included harpist Sharon Elliott, WCS RISE choir and senior choir, Grace United Chancel Choir, Rotary Club, Zion Lutheran worship team, Spirit of Grace girls choir, and the Variations community choir.

WCS Eagles hosts senior girls basketball tourney

The Weyburn Comp Eagles senior girls basketball team hosted an invitational basketball tournament on Friday and Saturday, with the game action shown here against Regina Winston Knoll on Friday. The Eagles dropped this game 53-47. Other teams included Yorkton, Indian Head, Notre Dame Hounds, Lumsden, Harvest City Reapers and Regina Sheldon Williams.
