The Cornerstone board announced the new administrative policy during the Wednesday board meeting at their main office in Weyburn. It will come into effect on Monday, October 18.

Education director Gwen Keith said they have been working closely with the legal department at the Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA) to develop this procedure, and indicated one of the issues is that of protecting an employee’s privacy.

Initially, two tourism products will be developed that focus on a three-day itinerary and a seven-day itinerary that will straddle both regions and will include regional attractions, events, and accommodations. Itineraries can begin in either Montana or Saskatchewan.
