The Comp Eagles girls soccer and volleyball teams won over the weekend

Weyburn wraps up the preseason and prepare for the regular season to start on Friday, Sept. 24

The annual Festival of Leaves craft sale and trade show was held on Saturday at the Weyburn Curling Rink, with a total of 47 vendors from Weyburn and the surrounding region.

Heritage Day was held on Saturday at the Radville train station museum and grounds, featuring old-fashioned games, a large show-and-shine, live entertainment, a barbecue, a soapbox derby and a pie contest, among other things. The event is held annually as a fundraiser for the museum, located in the historic train station.

Registration for Southeast College opened about a month earlier this year to allow for more time for students to make a decision about their potential future.

The voting locations in the city are McKenna Hall, the City Centre Mall (in the former gymnastics space) and at St. Michael School, in the gym.
