Two residents who tested positive for COVID-19 in the South Central and Southeast zones, have died. Both individuals were in the 80+ age category. There are 325 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov.

Easy appetizer for entertaining

There are 351 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov. 29, bringing the provincial total to date to 8,239 cases.

The Young Fellows Club members were out in force on Saturday afternoon as their truckload of Christmas trees arrived, and the trees were quickly unloaded onto their lot, located on Second Street behind the Prairie Sky Co-op food store.

One resident in the 80+ age group who tested positive for COVID-19 has died. The person was from the Northwest zone. There are 197 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Nov. 28, bringing the provincial total to date to 7,888 cases.

The virtual Festival of Trees, which wrapped up the silent auction and a day-long virtual auction of the decorated Christmas trees, raised around $30,000 altogether, an “amazing” amount considering circumstances.

It is a challenging time for many local athletes right now, as recent COVID-19 restrictions have put a hold on games, and restrictions on the amount of people that can attend a practice or a workout.

Four residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died. Three of the deceased were residents from the North Central, Regina and Southeast zones and in the 80+ age group and one resident was from South Central in the 70-79 age group.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) continues to escalate its response to COVID-19, using the Health System Readiness Plan to guide actions being taken to contain, delay and mitigate the virus.
