The foreign student exchange program has been a staple of Rotary Club activities for many years, but as it’s disrupted this year by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rotary District 5550 is taking the opportunity to review the program.

The New Democratic Party pledged to go into geothermal electrical power production in a big way, in a policy announcement by NDP Leader Ryan Meili on Sept. 17.

The final phase of the new City of Weyburn welcome signs is taking shape at the six major entrances around the city. Concrete piles and bases have been formed and poured, and the 7x12 ft.

There are 14 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Sept. 30, bringing the total to 1,913 reported cases. The new cases are located in the Northeast (1), Saskatoon (8), Central West (1), Central East (2), and Regina (2) zones.

The first phase of new accessible playground equipment was installed at St. Michael School on Monday and Tuesday, with volunteers from the Young Fellows Club and Knights of Columbus on hand to help.
