The Government of Saskatchewan is providing $1 million to support a province-wide marketing campaign to encourage Saskatchewan residents to support local businesses and their employees.

The Government of Saskatchewan announced that anyone working now or returning to work under Phase I and Phase II of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan will have access to licensed child care services located within Saskatchewan schools.

Premier Scott Moe was joined by Finance Minister Donna Harpauer on Thursday to announce a temporary wage supplement for lower income essential workers helping vulnerable citizens.

Saskatchewan has six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of April 30, bringing the provincial total to 389. Three of the new cases are from the north region (two in Lloydminster), two from the Saskatoon area and one from the far north (La Loche).

Starting Monday, May 4, 2020 the new entrance will be open to the City of Weyburn Landfill. The new entrance is located on the southwest end of landfill next to the Livestock Exchange. Signage will be in place to help direct traffic.
